In 2003, Sony debut amazing technology
known as Qrio. A humanoid robot with
human like movements and the ability to
speak and interact with it's surroundings.
Unfortunately, Sony decided to discontinue
Qrio due to budgeting issues and forth-
comming financial restructuring of it's
electronics sector. I, along with many
others were dissapointed to see this
masterpiece of engineering fade away.
Hopefully Sony will reevaluate it's
technological roots and one day bring back
Qrio. If so, I can only imagine what the
next generation of this robotic wonder
woud be like.
